Halloween is probably our favourite night out of the year - sweets, dressing up and lots of horror movies, what's not to love?! Actually there is one thing: expensive costumes that we'll never wear again! Instead of wasting our hard earned cash on "proper" costumes, this year we're getting creative with items we love. Here are three costume ideas that are frightfully easy to recreate and are all based around key Oh My Love pieces that you'll actually wanna wear again without the fake blood and menacing looks.
Look One: Vampire Vixen with our leather-look midi dress and a dab of fake blood.
Look Two: Woeful Wednesday with our collar playsuit and tightly braided plaits.
Look Three: Bride's Revenge with our white maxi dress and some dark red roses.

Hi Sarah, give us a little introduction to yourself and your blog...
My name’s Sarah Ashcroft and I’m from thatpommiegirl.com, which is a girly, high-street focused, fashion blog. The name comes from the fact that ‘pommie’ means ‘English in Australia, and I’m half Australian... So it actually means ‘That English Girl’ so it’s a bit personal to me.
How long have you been blogging for?
It was a year on the 21st of September this month, so I enjoyed celebrating the one year anniversary.
What do you think of our humble home here at #OMLHQ?
I love it! I want my house to look like this! I love modern and really chic, minimalist interiors, where as my house is full of colour because my mum loves colour and clutter. OML HQ though is like my dream – it’s so nice!
Are there any particular pieces from the new collection that have caught your eye?
I loveeeee the Winter Leopard two-piece and the pink, bodycon, high neck dress! It’s bubblegum pink – so nice, I love that!
What's the one item in your wardrobe that you could not live without?
Either a pair of high-waisted jeans or a black, leather jacket – they’re such staple items!
Any fashion tips for us?
One of my biggest styling tips is try and buy things in a size bigger because there’s nothing worse than when things look tight! If I buy anything I always buy a size up. Always. Unless it’s like a pair of shorts that have a zip and they need to fit you , then definitely go up a size. Oversized always looks better anyway!
If you could steal anyone's wardrobe whose would it be and why?
Hmm… it would either be Mollie King from The Saturdays just because she always looks so well put together or it would be Fanny Lyckman, the Swedish blogger. She’s proper girly, but edgy as well. I probably wouldn’t be able to pull it off, but it would be fun to try!
If you could be one animal for the day, what would you be and why?
I’d probably be my dog, because it’s so bloody pampered! It just does nothing but sleep, get fed, get touched and get loved the whole time!
If you could only eat one type of food for the rest of your life what would it be and why?
This is gonna sound so posh but it would have to be scallops and black pudding with mash – that’s my all time favourite!
Top Instagram editing app or filter?
VSCOCam – I dunno what I’d do without it! It just makes me look pretty.
You do NOT need a filter, Sarah! Any tips for newbies to the style blogging scene?
I find a lot of bloggers these days are starting blogs just for free stuff , but you shouldn’t do that! You blog because you enjoy it and if you enjoy it, it definitely shows and people will follow you because you have a passion. If you’re just blogging for the sake of freebies, you’re just not gonna get anywhere because it does show. It’s not about the followers – it’s about you, your own blog and focusing on what you love.
